Got a call today saying I’d be charged £39.99 monthly for some Amazon subscription, and to press 1 if I wanted to chat to someone to stop it. Tried a new angle but still a clear scam since I dont even have an Amazon Prime account. Just another dodgy call trying to pull a fast one!

Today I got a call from this number, and the person said they were with Amazon Prime. They told me they'd be charging me an extra £39.99 to keep my Amazon Prime going. I actually do have Amazon Prime already, so this felt totally off - definitely seems like a scam to me.

Got a scratchy automated female voice saying something about Amazon Prime charging me £39.99 and to press a number to talk to someone. Sounded dodgy if you ask me.
