I just received a call from this number, and honestly, it’s rather infuriating that such companies are still at it. Firstly, the accent didn’t exactly scream Birmingham. Secondly, I could tell it was one of those automated voice systems. If you don’t answer in the precise way they expect, the whole call just goes nowhere, which is probably why it cut off abruptly. I don't like to be harsh, but it really didn't make you sound clever at all!

An absolute numpty from Birmingham rang me up. She introduced herself as Julie Stan (or something like it; the last part didn't register). Honestly, she sounded like she had a few loose screws. When I asked her to go over her name again, she promptly cut the call. Definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed!

Received a rather peculiar call on my work mobile today. The caller was insistent that I had been in a mishap that wasn’t my doing and that my number had somehow been passed to them for me to follow up on a claim. When I pressed them on where exactly they had obtained my number, they clammed up completely. I informed them I hadn't had any sort of accident and wouldn’t provide my work number for such matters if that were the case, and just like that, they cut off the line. Quite the dodgy approach, if you ask me!
