5 yearsI’m pretty sure this was one of those loft insulation rip-offs, maybe the foam stuff they spray on the roof... I didn’t let it go any further though. The person called themselves from a local “energy provider” and said their name was “Chris” from some place called Green Eco Centre in London. They were pushing me to book an appointment for loft insulation, saying mine probably didn't meet current govt. rules anymore. They claimed they’d covered almost everyone else in my area and were just chasing the “last few” who hadn’t been contacted before. Throughout the call, they ignored me when I asked for more details like their phone number (which I already had from the caller ID) and business address. I also mentioned I’m registered with the TPS, but that didn’t seem to bother them one bit. Then, after a pause on my end when I tried to check the number online, “Chris” asked if I could still hear him and hung up straight away when I told him what I was doing.
