Got a call from someone called Brendan claiming to be from ‘The Link Group’ and he kept asking for a director. I looked them up on another site and it seems like they try to connect folks with investors or something. Honestly just annoying more than anything!

I keep receiving incessant calls, inquiring if I'm overdue on my HMRC payments! It's becoming rather bothersome, to say the least!

I returned their call, and they identified themselves as CFS, yet they were rather reticent about providing any information regarding their identity or purpose. Strangely enough, they wanted my personal details upfront despite the fact that they were the ones who initially contacted me. The giveaway was when the woman mentioned, "I make countless calls and can't tell who I'm speaking to." This strongly suggests that these are unsolicited calls. I would classify this as a spam operation. Just a heads-up: CFS appears to be "Capital Financial Solutions UK Ltd, whose registered office is at Oxford Chambers, Oxford Road, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 9AT. They've got an official registration number of 04504774 in England." You might want to try their freephone number, 0800 862 0800, to see if you have any luck getting through.
