6 yearsI didn't answer the call but saw they left a voicemail. It was from Cookson Gold, the website that sells gold, silver, and gemstones among other things. I had just ordered something from them not long ago.Cookson Gold9 yearsI received a missed call from this number and chose not to answer it. It raises a few red flags, especially considering I've previously been targeted by scammers posing as "McAfee Security." After calling a different number, 08007563354, I quickly realised it had nothing to do with McAfee. In the midst of my search for McAfee's customer service online, I found some concerning information. I was told they required £130 to carry out a "Deep Clean" on my identity, to be sent via cheque or postal order! I mentioned that such orders are rather costly, but they insisted on deducting those charges from the initial £130. They even provided me with an address for sending the payment and a specific two-hour window to ring them once I'd sent it. It leaves me wondering if this "01212002120" number is somehow linked to their operation.McAfeeSubmit Your Own Report (0121 200 2120)
