Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent earlier today. When I asked what it was about, he just started chuckling. I told him it wasn’t amusing and asked why he kept ringing me. He said something like “just giving you a ring now and then...” I cut him off there and told him to never call me again, not even occasionally. Something similar happened a few days back - the guy on the other end claimed his name was Jack Frost!

Today I got a call from an Indian bloke asking for Mr M----. I told him that Mr M---- doesn’t live here and he wanted to know my name - I kept quiet. Then he read out my phone number, address, and postcode back to me, saying he's conducting a consumer study that’d only take about 50 seconds. I told him to jog on and slapped the phone down. Luckily, I’ve got caller ID and my dog’s whistle next to the phone for any more cheeky calls.
