When you say that, they just switch to saying it’s “an upgrade.” They’re really stubborn, even when I call them out on it. Honestly, I know way more about this stuff than they do! Proper persistent little sods!

I got a call from someone saying my number was linked to telecom services, which it definitely isn't, then they started talking about setting up broadband. The minute I told them it was a private number, they just cut me off. They actually knew my postcode too, probably because I run a small business and my number's on the internet somewhere.
