Somebody rang saying they were from the ppi team and claimed I was owed more than £2000 back since I finished paying my mortgage ahead of time. I asked them to post the refund but they said they don't send cheques anymore and only do bank transfers. I didn’t want to share any bank info and then they just cut off the call.

Kept ringing non stop so I just had to block the number in the end.

I kept seeing the phone ring from this number that was marked as possible spam, so I just declined it every time. They ended up ringing me three times back to back!
