I received a phone call from a lady who had a quite pronounced accent, claiming to be from the so-called "Call-Blocking Department." I asked her to refrain from bothering me, but she just kept chattering away. In the end, I decided to block her number.

Got a call from 01208 822281, some lady with a strong foreign accent claiming she was from the 'call blocking dept'. I told her my phone’s actually watched by the Police to catch people scamming. Then she just hung up straight away ;-)
