I can’t quite fathom how they’ve got hold of my number because I’ve never shared it with anyone!

Received a rather peculiar call earlier, claiming to be from BT. They seemed quite keen to find out the number of phone lines installed at our address. Very odd indeed!

On the phone they seemed quite nice, but it was clear they were really just out to find people to rip off. They don’t help for free, you end up getting charged.

No need to stress, folks around here are happy to lend a hand with getting your ISDN funding sorted.

I missed a call from these people, so I rang them back. The bloke on the phone was really nice. They arranged for a consultant to come round and talk us through the switch. Now we’re just waiting for the new phone system to be installed, ready before things get busy.

Honestly, I was quite doubtful when I first saw this online, but then one of the women at work gave me a hand setting up my phone changeover since we need to switch all our lines to cloud or VOIP soon. So don’t worry about it!

Got a call from a lady named Thea, I think? It was quite a relief to talk to someone who seemed to really understand what’s going on, especially with all this switch from ISDN to internet phones happening. Made me feel a bit more at ease with all the confusion.

Had some great help with the ISDN switch, the bloke on the phone called Billy was really polite and sorted things out for me. They’re actually planning to drop by soon to talk about their funding application. Cheers to the team from The Red Lion!

Was gonna listen to the guy chatting about Stella beer and didn’t even notice the call was live, then right when I twigged it, he just cut off the call!

Got a call from some daft girl going on about "Openreach giving out funds in your region." When I tried to find out what it was actually for, she just rambled and couldn’t explain properly. She kept mentioning some sort of upgrades but when I asked if it was broadband or phone gear being upgraded for free, she clammed up. Seems like they hire people who don’t even know what they’re talking about. Best just steer clear of them.

Absolute muppet at the other end of the line rambling on about some funding from 'Openreach' in our region. When I inquired about the details, she stumbled and couldn't provide a sensible reply. She just kept droning on about upgrades. But when I pressed her to clarify whether they were enhancing broadband connections or dishing out hardware like phones without charge, she fell completely silent. Best to steer clear of this nonsense.

Had a rather chilly phone call today from someone touting broadband deals.

They told me a company name but I couldn't find any website for it, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. They also claimed my old BT line would be disconnected soon, but I don’t even have BT as my provider, so it felt like they were just making stuff up. I’ve reached out to my provider by email to check, and now I’m just waiting to hear back.

Got a call from this number 01208822275, some bloke claimed to be an engineer from Open Reach. He kept going on about how our phone line had to be upgraded from copper to fibre, or else our phones would just stop working. Bit pushy about it all, if you ask me.

Really nice folks, nothing dodgy going on here. The ISDN is changing over, but they've been a huge help during the whole switch process. Couldn’t have managed it without them!

Got a call from some outfit saying I’ve gotta replace my ISDN lines 'cause they're about to be disconnected. Told the bloke it sounded like a scam and he just told me to shove off before slamming the phone down. What a charm. Definitely a dodgy call, don’t fall for it.
