Got a call from someone with pretty bad English saying they were from my electric company. I asked them to verify my postcode to prove their identity. They said I was with EON, which isn’t true and didn’t match my postcode at all. I tried asking for the postcode confirmation again but they just muttered something unclear. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.

They called saying they were from some appliance repair cover, something like "Number 1 cover" or whatever. Their title had "No 1" in it. I already have something similar but with a different company, never heard of this No 1 cover lot. I just told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
