I got a ring from a bloke with a thick accent, but it definitely wasn't Cornish. I could hear a bunch of people chatting in the background, like some sort of call centre. He didn’t know my name, and it felt like such a classic scam. When I looked up a number just one digit off this one on this site, it turned up as an O2 sim card scam. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

This number is a total scam, so don’t bother picking up. Just block it, report it and get rid of it from your phone straight away.

Got a call from a woman with a heavy Asian accent claiming to be ringing from Curry's PC World about some deal on an iPhone. I asked her about the weather down in Cornwall, and she said she was actually calling from London. I told her it was odd since the caller ID showed Bodmin, Cornwall. She stuck to her story about being in London, then quickly said goodbye and hung up. Tried ringing the number back afterwards but it’s disconnected now.
