It appears that this number is dodgy and quite possibly a scam. I've received 11 missed calls from them without a single voicemail left. Each time I've answered, the line just goes silent, which gives me the heebie-jeebies. Definitely sounds like the sort of behaviour you'd expect from a fraudster or a spammer. Proceed with caution!

Got a call from this strange number around 4:45PM on Friday, 9th June 2023. My phone flagged it as a possible scam, so I just didn’t pick up. They didn’t leave any voicemail or send a text afterwards either.

Got two random calls today, both pretty close together from 01208 247 468 and 01208 247 469. Never picked up as I don’t take calls from unknown numbers, especially since my mum and dad have both passed away. If it was important, they’d have left a voicemail but nope, nothing recorded. So yeah, just ignored them.

This number called me earlier and I had no clue what they were on about, so I asked straight up who they were, where they were ringing from, how they got my digits, and what the hell they wanted. They just said loud and clear "if you’re not up for the promo then **** off". I wasn’t exactly polite back, told them to **** right off. Then the bloke started swearing even more, so I just ended the call.
