Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming they were ringing from Curry’s PC World, trying to tempt me with a phone upgrade at a cheaper price. Definitely a scam!

It appears to be a rather dodgy number, if I'm honest. I got a call from it which I decided to ignore, and rather peculiarly, it coincided with a text from my mobile provider containing a one-time verification code for altering my password. One can't help but suspect that the call was part of a scheme; the caller was probably fishing for the extra details required to reset my password and gain entry to my account. Best to stay vigilant, I reckon!

Just got a call again, said it was from Bodmin, right after one a few minutes ago, and this makes the third time in a couple of days. I’ve already blocked the earlier numbers. Didn’t pick up this time.
