Today, he called from the number 0120 824 7036, but during the previous incident, I was able to trace his location back to India. In retrospect, I should have realized that it couldn't have been Virgin, considering their poor customer service and lack of tendency to make contact with customers. It appears that Virgin may have a security concern, which isn't entirely surprising, given their practice of outsourcing to India.

A guy with an Asian accent called claiming to be from Virgin Media in the end. Honestly, his voice was so slow and dragged out, like he was on some kind of sedative or something. Took me no time at all to realise it was dodgy. I find it kinda messes them up if I ask "who is this?" instead of just saying "hello".

They also asked several questions regarding my online banking, computer or laptop usage, mobile phone, tablet or iPad. I didn't provide a clear response during our conversation and then they mentioned wanting to ask some security questions. At that point, I decided to hang up the call.
