That way you can always listen back to messages on speaker. If it’s someone you know, then go ahead and pick up. He seemed to be reading from a script and just kept on talking, which made it hard to get a word in. Said he had a list of names he was working from. When I asked a few times where the list had come from, he claimed his manager would ring back to explain everything. I told him I’d had loads of dodgy calls before and wanted to hang up.
