I received a call from someone named Alex representing the Estates Protect Group on this number. Interestingly, he then contacted me from another number, 012109 707958 based in Redruth. I’ve already requested to be removed from their calling list before, but it seems they’ve totally ignored my wishes. As a result, I've lodged a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service.

BEWARE OF SCAMS! Stay clear and make sure you report every attempt to the police fraud centre. Just search ‘action fraud’ and visit the official ‘police.uk’ website. Head over to the page for reporting phishing and take time to read all the instructions carefully. Fill out the form with as much info as you can, including any links or web addresses you’ve been sent. You won’t need to sign up or give personal details unless you’ve actually lost money. The only way the police can track these scams is if we all keep reporting them. Don’t ignore it!

Someone rang me up the other day giving me all sorts of tips about selling my house to fund a care home. Seemed a bit off to me, like they were pushing some financial scheme or something. I didn't really trust their advice, didn’t ask for it and just ended the call quick.
