When I followed the prompt and pressed 1 to talk to someone, a woman with an Asian accent answered and asked what I wanted. I explained they’d called me first. She said she was from BT and repeated the same story about my internet being compromised. I then asked for her contact number, but she said she wasn’t allowed to share it. Sceptical because of all the scams these days, I asked if she was really with BT.
