I answered the call, but there was utter silence on the other end, which leads me to believe it was just another spammy number. I've received a fair few of these annoying calls, so I've decided to block it altogether now.

I got a call from this number around 5:43pm but as soon as I picked up, the person just hung up. I've never seen this number pop up before. My lad said he also got a ring from a Consett area code. From what I've gathered, it's best not to pick up and just block the number to stop any more calls. Seems to me like this could be one of those scam calls.
