I was approached to complete a survey regarding Covid-19 vaccinations. However, every time I attempted to express my thoughts, they cut me off. Quite discourteous and lacking in manners, if you ask me. Highly suspect that they’re genuine NHS representatives.

Normally my phone warns me about dodgy calls, but this one went through with no alert. I was expectin a call from the NHS anyway, so when they said they were from there, I just trusted it. Things got weird when they started askin if I had life insurance, and then outta nowhere, they said I sounded nice and asked if I was on Instagram. Pretty strange, right?

I encountered a rather pompous con artist who kept insisting that I had outstanding debts that were unsecured. He was quite persistent, claiming he could assist me in settling them. However, it was clear from the outset that he was nothing more than a scammer dressed up as a legitimate debt advisor.

I got a call from a bloke saying he was with some Covid-19 centre. He started asking me about which jabs I'd had but got my name all wrong. When I asked him the name of the company he was working for, he just cut the call off. Proper fishy if you ask me.

Got a call claiming to be from some Covid tracking team, asking if I’d had the jab or caught the virus. I told them they should have that info already. Then they randomly asked if I was a virgin! I said, "What’s that got to do with Covid?" Then the bloke admits he’s not really from the register but says he fancies me and wants me to give him a chance. Weird and kinda creepy, felt like harassment.

My husband got a call from an Asian guy asking if his Covid jab was current. Then he started asking which company handled his life and health insurance. I got on the phone and asked why that was any of his business, but he kept pushing, so we just ended the call and blocked the number. Watch out, this smells like another scam!

Got a call from a man with a strong Asian accent, started asking about my COVID vaccinations and then switched to questions about my money situation. He ended up yelling at me, which I didn’t appreciate at all! Claimed he was from some “Public Health Care Department” or something like that, definitely not the official Health Department. Sounds like a load of scammers to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS, asking if I’d had all my covid jabs. Somebody rang claiming to be from the National Vaccination Board, saying they were located in Nottingham and even gave a postcode. But when I mentioned the number had a Colchester area code, they brushed it off, saying it didn’t matter because they weren’t calling from a mobile. I didn’t share any details and told them I suspected it was some sort of scam. I said if it was for real, they could just send me an email instead.

I got a call from someone claiming I owed money, which I don’t. I asked them, “What debts?” because I honestly don’t have any. They just replied, “You tell me.” So I shot back, “No, you tell me then.” After that, I couldn’t help myself and said, “Are you thick or what?” They answered with, “You’re the one who’s a debtor, idiot.” I told them I’d report their number to the police and ended the call. Whoever they are, they’re total scammers and really rude.

This individual was pressing me for information about my financial obligations, which, to be clear, I don’t have. In a rather cheeky manner, I flipped it back on him and asked him what debts he was on about. Suddenly, he fell silent! When I suggested he might be a bit thick, he retorted by calling me a moron in debt. Quite obviously, this is a scam, and that chap is definitely not trustworthy. Please, do yourself a favour and block him, reporting his dubious antics while you're at it. What a ridiculous situation!
