On the 13th of April 2022, I received a ring from 01206 806 270. The person on the line was a woman with a very strong foreign accent, claiming to be talking about some kind of Government scheme. She rushed through her spiel so fast that I barely caught anything she said. I was honest and told her I couldn’t make out a single word, and honestly, I meant it. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. If these scammers are trying to look official, you’d think they’d hire someone who actually speaks clear English!
