Got a call from some company claiming they could cut my broadband bills, but I’m not really sure if it was legit or just a scam. Luckily, I’m not the one on the account, so I didn’t get pulled into the whole thing.

Today, I received a rather dubious call from a gent who claimed he had a “superior broadband offer” to share with me. Strangely enough, he never mentioned which company he was affiliated with. I wager this number could potentially be a scam.

Just got a call, they were asking for my address to check if they could offer a better internet plan or something like that, but kept it really unclear. I told them a few times I recently switched providers, like two days ago (which is true), so I wasn’t interested. Despite that, the caller kept pushing for information. When I asked who they were representing, they named a few different companies. They still tried digging for my details, even asking how long I’d been with my current provider, so I cut the call short. Best to just ignore these lot!
