Got a call from some company claiming they could cut my broadband bills, but I’m not really sure if it was legit or just a scam. Luckily, I’m not the one on the account, so I didn’t get pulled into the whole thing.

Today, I received a rather dubious call from a gent who claimed he had a “superior broadband offer” to share with me. Strangely enough, he never mentioned which company he was affiliated with. I wager this number could potentially be a scam.

I just received a call from someone wanting to know my address, claiming they were looking to see if they could offer me a better broadband package or something rather nebulous like that. I made it quite clear that I had only just signed up with a new provider two days ago (which is true), so I wasn't interested at all. Nevertheless, the caller continued to press for my information. When I inquired about who he represented, he rattled off the names of a few companies and then kept on trying to extract more details from me, including how long I had been with my current provider. At that point, I decided to hang up. Best to steer clear of these sorts of calls!
