I've been inundated with unsolicited calls from some accident claims firm. I had a rather terse chat with a woman on the line, reminding her that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and shouldn’t be receiving such calls. I'm convinced they're not actually local to Colchester, despite using the area code to make it seem that way. In the end, I decided to block their number after being bombarded by their calls for the last fortnight. Honestly, such nuisances!

I’ve been receiving some rather chilly calls from a company specialising in accident claims. I informed the woman on the other end that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so such unsolicited calls shouldn’t be coming my way. I have my doubts that they’re actually located in Colchester; it seems more likely they’re exploiting that area code as a ruse to coax people into picking up. Sounds a tad dodgy to me!
