Some bloke rang saying I was due a refund over £200. He was pretty vague about what company he was with though. When he asked for my date of birth, I just gave him a made-up one. He seemed a bit unsure like he might’ve known the real one. Then he started asking about my bank details, that’s when I just hung up. Honestly, it felt dodgy - the way they try to sound genuine can fool you, especially if you’re a bit strapped for cash. I’d say watch out for calls like that.
