Got a call yesterday about a "free moisture inspection". The person claimed it was some government rule that every home needed checking for damp. I told them I wasn’t bothered. They replied it didn’t matter, it was a government requirement anyway. I just said thanks and hung up. Sounds like a dodgy scam or, at best, a really pushy sales tactic to me.
