Got a call from someone claiming to be the "Home Refund Team" saying I’m due £149 about my washing machine. Seemed dodgy since my washer is over a decade old and I've moved house ages ago - also informed the insurer ages back. When I questioned them, they got really abrupt and tried to send me the cash without even confirming my details. I told them if it was legit, they’d have my correct address already. Total sketchiness!
