I just got a call from this number, and the person said her name was Nikita from something called Fast Claim. (I did have a car accident last month) I asked how they got my phone number since I only talk to people from my insurance or the other driver's insurance. Then the call just dropped on me.

Just so you know, this is a bot pretending to be a real person. It’ll ask if you’ve had an accident and wait for a yes or no answer. If you don’t reply, it’ll say “hello?” It’s pretty smart but super irritating. Ask it stuff like “what’s the weather?” or “what’s today’s date?” and it’s totally lost. Feel free to swear at it if you fancy, it might help your mood.

Another one of those annoying PPI calls. I always hold off letting the person speak first when I get calls from unknown numbers on my mobile, or any calls on my rarely used landline. From past experience, if they don’t say anything straightaway, it’s either a silent nuisance call or some automated scam with a pre-recorded message (they stay quiet until you try talking, which is a dead giveaway it’s a bot). This was exactly that. Best to just ignore it.

Got a call earlier today from a number in Boston, England. The lady said her name was Nikita xxx and that she was calling from a claims company. She claimed someone had hit my car and that they had been told about it. When I asked what registration they had on file for me, she just kept repeating that my car had been hit. I told her that wasn’t true and asked again for the registration details. The line then just went dead.

Keep getting annoying calls about car accident claims even though I'm on the TPS list. This firm just switches their phone numbers all the time. Over the past week, I've had more than 30 calls from them, including from numbers like 01639326984, +01639326984, 07835793576, and now this one. It's been when a mate of mine’s been on life support in intensive care, and every ring of the phone just made me feel sick inside. I've reported them to the ICO. This kind of harassment should seriously be against the law, and these people deserve to be dealt with properly.

On the 12th of December 2015 around 1:36 PM, I received a rather dubious call. The person on the line claimed I was involved in a car accident and hinted at some sort of insurance claim. I quickly replied that I didn’t own a vehicle (which was a bit of a fib since I actually do) just to cut the conversation short. Shortly after that, she terminated the call.
