I got a call from someone claiming to be ‘BT’, saying my internet was gonna be cut off because of some dodgy activity with others trying to hack in or whatever. They told me to hit 1 if I wanted to chat to an agent or 9 to disconnect my internet. I chose 9, waited on hold for a bit, then the line just went dead. Pretty clear scam if you ask me. The whole thing was recorded, and the voice - some woman at the start - sounded super fake and the audio quality was terrible. Not buying it at all.
