4 yearsI’m so fed up with these nasty scammers calling from a Bolton number. They keep bothering me nonstop for ages now. Lately when they ring, I answer with: “Hello there, ready to settle your outstanding debt today, mate?” Then they go, “What debt? You’ve got it wrong, it’s you who owes me!” And I reply, “No, no, you’ve got it all wrong - you actually owe me!” Usually, they either hang up straight away, all annoyed because I’ve thrown their own words back at them. Sometimes they get really angry and say stuff like, “This is serious, you’re in debt and there’ll be consequences.” I then tell them, “Mate, you must be losing your mind under the stress of your debts, now you’re pretending to be some kind of debt collector.” And then they hang up. These fraudsters are nothing but lying cheats - total rubbish!4 yearsI got a call from a number that looked like it was from Bolton, but they were actually ringing from some call centre abroad. They said they were with a Tenancy Association, which is rubbish since I own my place, nothing to do with renting. I told them to delete my number right away.
