Got a phone call from some shady bloke who already knew my name and mobile number. He kept pushing for my date of birth and kept asking all sorts of questions trying to trick it out of me, but I didn’t fall for it. Since I’m not a native English speaker, he tried to find out my nationality by asking what language we mostly speak at home - a clear trick to gather info. I just gave him nonsense answers instead, and when I told him my Facebook profile is nothing like real life, he hung up straight away. Proper scam attempt, I reckon.

Her partner, Reno Degisi, was caught with £1500 that he couldn’t account for and had it taken off him. Have a search for her name and let her know she’s been busted. If she starts probing, just mention the red Toyota, some photos, a microwave, and a pair of sunglasses.

I ended up giving them the dob, partial address and profile pic, but nothing else. After that, I contacted my bank to let them know just in case, changed my FB password and took down personal info. I've also disabled the phone number. Right now, that number isn’t active anymore.
