Got a call on my mobile from 01204913250. Was an Indian lady. I stayed quiet but then heard, “hello? Mr Mecca? You’ve won a prize.” Tried saying hello back but then they just hung up. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a guy called Eric from Bolton who said he wanted to chat about my massive unsecured debts with high interest. He tried to make me feel better by quoting the Data Protection Act 1998, saying he was allowed to ring me up! Didn’t seem to know anything about GDPR though. Ended up blocking the number.

Got a call on my phone from a number that’s meant to be from Bolton, but the person on the line was a woman with a foreign accent called 'Jennifer'. She kept asking if I had any debts or credit cards. Like seriously, why would I be talking about that with some random person?! Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from some Indian call centre claiming to offer debt help, but they got really hostile when I started asking questions. Honestly, they showed their real intentions pretty quick. Total scam, don’t fall for it, don’t give them anything!

They rang me twice today, and I thought it was a firm I was expecting to hear from, so I picked up. First call, I couldn’t hear a thing, just my own voice bouncing back. Second time, they claimed to be from my bank, said there was suspicious activity on my account and asked for my details to verify. I ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Be careful! Don’t pick up.

Got a call on my mobile even though it's on the TPS list. Didn’t pick up since I usually ignore unknown numbers. No voicemail left, so I googled the number and found the reviews here. So fed up with these unwanted calls, especially when I thought TPS would stop them. Lockdown was the only time I didn’t get any scam calls, and now they’ve started up again!
