Lately I've been getting loads of calls where as soon as I pick up, the caller just hangs up. Just a bit ago, this number rang me and there was no noise or anything, just dead silence, and they didn't even hang up straight away. Seems like the usual scam tactic - once they know someone’s answered, the calls just keep coming. Pretty annoying!

Got a call this morning about 8.30 from someone claiming to be from the tax office saying I was going to be arrested for fraud. They never asked for my name or anything. Luckily, my partner picked up and was told to press 1 to get arrested! My partner just said cheers and hung up. Blocked the number straight away!

There’s been quite the odd character pestering me with this number. He kept ringing me all week, insisting he could assist with my debts. I was courteous and turned down his offers time and again, but in hindsight, perhaps I was a tad too amicable, which might be why he persisted in calling. I've since realised that this number is linked to a scam, so I’ve had no qualms about blocking it and sharing my experience here.

They keep ringing me but the last few digits keep changing. I’ve just decided to block any calls coming from numbers that start with 913.

If you just hang up without leaving a message, how are we meant to know who called or what it’s about? It’s frustrating when people don’t leave a voicemail!
