I get calls from them just about every day. Luckily, I'm usually overseas and don’t pick up, so I think I dodged a bullet there.

This number kept ringing me non-stop. Finally, I picked up and they started saying I had some claim from a car accident. I laughed and said, “Well, where’s my payout then?” They suddenly changed tune and admitted there was no claim at all! I warned them that if they bothered me again, I’d report them for harassment. They claimed it wasn’t illegal but I told them actually it is - more than two calls is a police matter, and any more after that can lead to arrest. The guy sounded shocked and asked how I knew all this. I just told him I used to be a cop! After that, he apologised and promised to take me off their list. Brilliant!

I got this creepy call saying I was in some accident, which freaked me out. It felt really threatening. How are they allowed to do stuff like this? I was sure it’s against the law.
