Got a call again, this time from someone with an Asian accent saying they're from a UK helpline to help me get back bank fees. This is like the tenth time! I try to block them but they still manage to ring me on both my mobile and landline. Proper annoying, I just end up hanging up straight away.

These so-called experts claiming they'll give back bank fees... yeah, right! I haven’t got any fees anyway. It’s super irritating and honestly feels like a total scam. My old boss in sales had a saying, “fling enough rubbish out there, and some of it will land!” I reckon they ring up hundreds or even thousands daily, just hoping to catch someone gullible.

I've gone through all the remarks, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe I’ve flagged this number in the past; it rings a bell. I can't help but wonder why on earth these blokes are permitted to access my unlisted and TPS-registered number solely for the sake of scams! It’s high time this sale of personal information came to a halt. If action were taken against these dodgy characters, I reckon the nonsense would vanish in an instant. I’m pretty certain loads of us have flagged these idiots already, so how come they’re still hanging about?! Trading and using personal info like that should be enough to wipe them out completely! What’s the use of the TPS or having an ex-directory number if they ignore it all anyway?! These dodgy callers have a trick where if you ring back, it just cuts off - something we regular landline users don’t get when dodgy firms call us. Received a call today from 01204 658051, some PPI lot saying they were from "credit clinic". Had a quick chat with them and they said they'd call back in 5 mins. When they did, the person on the line was different and told me I might have a claim. They said they'd ring me again in 15 mins. Still no call as I’m typing this up. As a legal professional, I found their blatant falsehoods quite amusing, to be honest. Don’t fall for it; they’ll end up draining your finances instead. This scheme is completely unscrupulous, and there's little chance you'll see any benefit from it. Best to jot down this number, block it without hesitation, and warn your mates as well.

Got loads of missed calls from this number, so I picked up in the end. It was someone with an eastern accent claiming to be from United Solutions, talking about some government thing where you can reclaim charges from your current bank account. I’d never heard of such a thing and it sounded dodgy to me. I told him to take me off the list, but he said he couldn’t do that. I had to tell him again that I’m not interested and to stop calling. He wouldn’t let me get a word in, kept talking over me, so I just ended the call.

He claimed he was calling from my British bank about some charges on my account. When I asked him what he was referring to, he mentioned phone insurance. I told him I don’t have that, and then he quickly switched to saying house insurance. I said I don't have any kind of insurance tied to my bank, and then he just ended the call!

This number just rang me up, and normally when I don’t recognise a caller, I open with “Hello, you’re speaking with Mark from BT nuisance calls.” When it’s someone I’m familiar with, they just chuckle, but it really seems to put these morons off.
