I received a call purporting to be from EE, boasting about slashing my monthly bill to a mere ten quid. They requested my email address, which, as you can imagine, EE already has on file. I played it cool and said, "Post it to me, and I’ll give it a gander." At that point, the chap became rather insistent that I stay on the line and pay attention. Let's just say the chat took a nosedive from there!

I reckon this call was a scam. The person said they were from NH's and asked if I had life insurance, which seems a bit fishy to me - I don’t think NH’s would ask something like that. Ended up just hanging up straight away.

Got a call from a man with a strong Asian accent claiming to be from the Public Health Department. He said he wanted to talk about my two jabs. When I asked which ones, he mentioned Covid (I've actually had five). He asked if I had any problems after the shots, I said no, then he just ended the call. Definitely felt dodgy, watch out for this one.

Had a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming she worked for public health. The connection was awful, I could barely catch what she was saying. I kept mentioning the poor line, and then suddenly her voice got quite sharp. She went on asking about vaccines and stuff, but I told her I was ending the call since I couldn’t hear her clearly. I reckon it might have been a scam.

Got a call from someone named "Derek" who said he was ringing on behalf of Public Health. He asked me about getting Flu and Covid vaccinations, then switched to asking if I was satisfied with their services or had any complaints. I told him no, but then he moved on to asking whether I had proper health insurance for myself and my family. Turned out to be a sales pitch, so I ended the call pretty quick. Wish I hadn’t wasted so much time chatting with him.

I've received several calls from someone claiming to be with NHS England, inquiring whether I experienced any adverse reactions to my flu vaccination. The thing is, I haven't even had the flu jab! They then went on to question me about my insurance payments. I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested in any further communication and hung up. Surprisingly, they proceeded to ring me another three times after that. Quite persistent, aren't they?

Received a call from this number yesterday, and then they rang me twice today. They started off by inquiring about my Covid vaccinations before probing into my life insurance details. If you let slip the name of your insurer, they then want to know how much you pay each month. I decided to throw in some fabricated information just to see how they'd respond. Before long, they phoned me up again, claiming to be from my life insurance provider. Given my background in finance, I'm well aware that legitimate insurance companies don’t reach out to me with sales pitches or personal queries like that. Utter charlatans, really - I've now blocked the number as they're sure to keep pestering me. They've also tried contacting me from withheld numbers, which is incredibly frustrating.

When I inquired whether it was a sales call, the chap with the Asian accent assured me it was regarding health matters. I decided to end the conversation and, shortly thereafter, he attempted to ring me again.

I received two calls in the space of just three hours - both from what I can only describe as rather rude individuals with Asian accents who insisted on addressing me as 'Mr' followed by my first name. During the first call, I told the chap he would need to try a lot harder to get my attention, and to my surprise, he just ended the call! The second caller was a whirlwind of chatter, speeding through her lines like a van veering through our tight street! She had the audacity to ask, "How am I today?" When I pressed her on which company she represented (and believe me, I had no intention of being polite!), she mentioned something vague about being a "health and social security company" and immediately launched into questions about my health. I retorted, “Are you from the Department of Health and Social Security?” Honestly, it was as if I was trying to speak over a politician on *Good Morning Britain*! I finally snapped and said, “I’M NOT DISCUSSING MY HEALTH WITH A PRIVATE FIRM!!!” Predictably, she hung up as well. What an utter bunch of clueless nuisances… they’re now firmly blocked!

I’m highly sceptical about their legitimacy. Please, stay vigilant!
