Received a call from this number purporting to be about my life insurance. They bombarded me with a myriad of inquiries related to my policy. Disturbingly, there was a cacophony of noise in the background during the conversation. It seems like these fraudulent calls are becoming increasingly rampant.

These jokers never leave a proper message, just some rubbish that doesn't even hint at who they are, probably salespeople or something. Since 9 am last Friday up till 5:30 pm Monday (no calls on Sunday though), I've had a dozen texts telling me they've tried to ring. Honestly, best off just blocking them before they push you over the edge.

Got a call from someone going on about life insurance, with kids shouting in the background. They kept calling me by my first name instead of my last which was weird. Didn’t seem genuine at all. I rang the number back for a bit and heard something like “thanks for calling Empire.” I blocked that number straight away.
