Got called like 8 times back to back after I ignored the first ring. I finally picked up and they were asking for some Mr Thomas. I have no clue who that is but the guy got really pushy and kept insisting I was him. Was super rude about it too.

A man phoned up asking to speak to someone named Dicky, couldn’t recall the last name. He said he was trying to find a Dicky person. I told him he must be mistaken and said he’d take the name off his list. He was polite, but the call felt dodgy. Most likely a scam, but I reckon he lost interest once I spoke.

I try calling back with my number withheld but there’s no answer, just silence and then a beep beep before it cuts off. If this were a real company or genuine number, you’d think they’d have a working line and someone to pick up. Seems like a proper scam to me.

These bloody scammers keep blowing up my phone between one and four times daily, Monday through Friday, always starting with the same eight digits but switching the last three nearly every day. I just don’t bother answering them anymore, they can try all they like, I’m not giving them the time of day.
