I got a call from a woman who said she was a Home Efficiency Advisor from something called the National Booking Office. She tried to ask if I was Mrs **** from ********, which she couldn’t even say properly. I told her it depends who she was first. When I asked where exactly she was calling from, she got all flustered and just kept saying “the National Booking Office.” I pressed her for the company name, but she just repeated she was an advisor for the local area and then hung up on me. What a rude and uncalled-for interruption on such a nice day!

I think his name might’ve been James or something. He tried telling me my own name and address, but when I told him “you’ve dialled the wrong number” (like my house number), he just sounded really annoyed, muttered a bit, then just hung up. Honestly, didn’t know you could brush off these annoying callers so quick!

It was hard to make out what the guy was saying at first, but I eventually realised it was a bloke asking for me, saying he was some sort of insulation officer for my local area. I told him to call back when the line was clearer, but he never did. I checked on 'Who Called Me' and saw the number was from Bournemouth. We often get calls from that area about insulation work, even though we’re on the TPS and have told them to take us off their list. Definitely an annoying nuisance caller, and could be dodgy, so I’ve blocked the number now.
