I wouldn't bother picking up this number. It rings four times and then just disconnects. Have a look to see if your phone has a blacklist feature. If it does, you might want to add the number to it to prevent it from ringing, although fair warning-sometimes it could end up in your messages. I've come across an exceptionally advanced automated dialler recently. It's quite engaging and poses various questions. It’s akin to the loft insulation calls that many have experienced, yet it clearly isn’t a human. For instance, if you were to inquire, "Are you a real person or a bot?", it would respond with "That is correct" and continue along its merry way. They did disconnect at one point but rang back, starting over with a polite, "Apologies, let me begin again." It’s rather impressive how sophisticated their system is, distinguishing it from typical scams. However, the lack of substantial info makes it hard to fully assess; it might well be a legitimate sales lead generator, but who can honestly attest to the level of service one might end up receiving?
