Got a call at 6 in the morning today! Thankfully I didn’t answer since my landline’s always on silent because of all these annoying calls. Thing is, I never share my home number with anyone or put it on any forms online, so how did they get hold of it? I’m with Sky, so maybe they passed it on? I’m definitely planning to give them a proper telling-off! Not sure if these callers were legit or dodgy - the bad reviews I found are quite old and maybe it’s not even the same lot. But judging by the timing, it looks like those scammers might be back at it!

how much messing about does it take to get BT to cancel a phone contract? 9 years of dodgy calls, waking people up at silly times, and hassle more than once? Doesn’t seem to break any laws? Maybe helping out some dodgy business? why else would it go on for so long unless it’s at least covering the phone bill? Sounds like a classic bank scam. They claim there's been a withdrawal from your account, but never say which bank, then ask you to press 1 if you want to speak to someone about fraud. I pressed it and got some dodgy "agent" on the line, so I let them have it with a few choice words. They tried calling again a week later, just today, 18 July 2023, but I didn’t answer. What a pain!

I got a call early morning on Tuesday 29th November 2016 around 5.39AM. When I finally answered yesterday, the guy said he was calling about Windows, going on about stuff I needed to do. I think I must’ve annoyed him, especially after I didn’t fall for whatever scam he was trying. Looks like he lost a potential victim - lucky me! If you’re with TalkTalk and fed up with these crooks, just search Google for ‘TalkTalk nuisance’ and on the page you get, enter the caller's number about halfway down. You can then send it off for TalkTalk to look into, and it won't cost you a penny.

01202 765019 This number called my elderly mum, who has Alzheimer's, at 5:53 in the morning on Tuesday 22nd November 2016. It’s ridiculous that these calls are still happening so early. I honestly think governments everywhere should crack down a lot harder to stop this rubbish from spreading in the ‘free-market’ system. Got a call at 12:55 in the morning, total losers without jobs. Tried calling back but no answer, sadly. Rang them again at 5:30 am when I woke for work. Might just keep bugging them at odd times, maybe around 2 pm when they're probably crashed after a night of daft calls. They sure know how to kill time, all that brainpower totally wasted. Got a call really early, about 5:48am today. Weird thing is, the phone didn’t ring at all and when I checked my missed calls, there wasn’t anything there. I only realised someone had called after I dialled 1471 to check the last number that rang. So strange!

At 5 in the morning, some scammer pretending to be from TalkTalk conned me, and I ended up having to cancel all my bank cards. I was feeling awful for days after. Please don’t let this happen to you. If you don’t recognise the number, it’s likely just some telemarketer or a dodgy overseas call that could rip you off. I felt so stupid for ages. My advice?
