Got a call saying my Amazon Prime was up for renewal and they could sort the payment right then over the phone. Didn’t give out any info and just ended the call. You can renew Amazon Prime through your actual Amazon account or it renews by itself, no need for calls like this. Total scammer.

This number called me but I didn't pick up. After looking it up, turns out its one of those typical "you've been in a car crash" calls from a firm calling itself "Legal Assist/Direct Assist/Instant Legal" with the caller sounding like they’re from Liverpool. Best to just ignore these calls entirely - even answering to mess about means your number gets marked as active and sold to other scammers. Not worth the hassle!

They ring my mobile every day, but I don’t pick up and they never bother to leave a voicemail. I tried calling back from my landline with the 141 code, and they said “you’ve reached Legal Aid.” I didn’t say a word and just ended the call.

When I hesitated to verify my identity, as he only used my first name, his response was, "If I wanted anything additional, I could just call somewhere else!" Oh, please!
