Received a call regarding a timeshare, which is quite curious since we haven't had one for over 15 years! The lady on the other end absolutely refused to hear me out and kept rambling on about her points. I've had the same hassle with a call from 01254731080. I've attempted to block both numbers, but if they ring through again, I might just lose my temper!

This number has kept ringing my phone loads, always leaving voicemail messages. Various folks say they're from some 'Timeshare Council' and promise to help get money back on timeshares, saying the law's changed. There's loads online warning about these kinds of annoying callers. Their info (if any is true) is way old, we actually sold off our timeshare ages ago. I've blocked the number now.

Got a voicemail from someone named Yolanda Kelly at Timeshare Council saying the call was about changes in EU law and how it might impact my timeshare agreement. They asked me to ring 0800 024 3101 for more info or to tell them if I don't own a timeshare anymore so they can take me off their list. I’ve decided to block the number now!

Got a call out the blue with some convincing tale about me owing for 3 weeks at £99 each week from a hotel chain we’ve actually stayed at a few times before. They said it was some kind of entitlement because we sat through a timeshare sales talk, which they’ve offered us previously for the same £99/week. The caller was pretty pushy, insisting I pay immediately and trying to pressure me saying there’s limited time. The phone number listed on the [#]timesharecouncil[###] site links straight to the same automated system as this Bournemouth number, so it’s obviously a scam.

My missus answered the phone while I was out, so not sure of all the details. It was an unexpected call, but we’ve been dealing with a timeshare company lately and I can't see why they'd be ringing me now. She said she couldn’t really make out what they were on about.

Someone called me about my 'unused entitlement weeks' because apparently we'd spent a lot on our timeshare. I told them we didn’t have any entitlement weeks left, let alone the three unused ones they claimed we had. Feels like a dodgy scam trying to get you to buy more timeshare or something.

Got added to a group call by mistake, thinkin it’s some time share scam. Heard a woman, maybe called Allison Smith, sayin “you've been kicked from the call” right after I picked up. Timeshare Council Just a heads up, these calls might count as harassment so make sure you report them to the Information Commissioner's Office either by email or phone. This seems like the only real way to get them to stop. If you're worried about how a company is handling your info, definitely let them know. Need some help? You can start a live chat or ring their helpline on 0303 123 1113. If you’ve been getting pesky marketing calls, emails or texts that you don’t want, be sure to report it to them.

Got a call about timeshares again. Honestly, timeshares have always been a bit of a con. People have finally cottoned on to it now. But these same crowd are back, trying to flog 'timeshare compensation' schemes. Timeshares themselves? Totally dodgy from the start. Paying £10,000 for one week, plus around £350 every year? That's nuts. Basically paying what could buy a proper holiday home, then forking out even more annual fees. How on earth did so many fall for it? Now they're spinning a new yarn with these fake compensation deals, full of crocodile tears and all. Proper scam.

Timeshare reimbursement, you say? Oddly enough, my family hasn't been involved with one for over two decades. I gave them a ring and mentioned that they had contacted me last year, claiming a representative would remove me from their records. Obviously, that didn't pan out. Their so-called 'Customer Support' assured me there might have been some error with duplicate numbers and they would sort it out. Fat chance! I've no idea where they acquire their phone number database, but it’s clearly an unwise investment. They could easily be reaching out to someone who actually holds a timeshare.
