I received a call claiming I’d won a hamper. After I dutifully filled out a survey, the person on the line abruptly declared she wouldn’t address any further queries, before oddly asking about my marital status and confirming my address. Just like that, the call was cut short with her saying she needed to refresh their records and that they’d be in touch again. Well, bring it on!

I received a call claiming to be with "Ventura," and it turned out to be a complete sham! Apparently, they got my details from a travel and leisure questionnaire I supposedly filled out during a return flight to the UK in the last year and a half-total rubbish, if you ask me. I checked the information they had, and it was all incorrect; I never participate in those surveys! The moment they realised I was onto them, the call cut off abruptly. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I've received calls from this number on two occasions now, both times offering a complimentary hamper which I've politely turned down. I've asked them twice to remove my number from their calling list. If they attempt to reach me again, I won't hesitate to report them to Ofcom, as well as the Telephone Preference Service.

Ring informed us that we had indeed won the basket just after we completed the survey. However, she mentioned that she wouldn't be answering any further queries from us. Then, rather abruptly, she revealed our address and inquired about our marital status. The call ended quite suddenly, with her saying something about needing to update records and that she would call back. I'm prepared for whatever comes next.

We received a call from Ventura, telling us we had bagged a holiday and a day getaway in the UK. They instructed us to visit a hotel on a specific date to collect our reward. However, as soon as we said we wouldn't be attending, they abruptly disconnected the call. We're quite baffled about what these folks were trying to accomplish.
