Got a call from All Seasons Roofing about my conservatory. Problem is, I don’t have one. I asked if I wanted one, I said no, then asked where they got my number from. They said some national list. Told them to take it off, then they just hung up. Had to cut the call myself.

I told the bloke that making cold calls like that is against the law, but he didn’t even say sorry. He acted like I was the one wasting time - after all, he was getting paid and I wasn’t. On the bright side, I kept him on the line for 15 minutes, so hopefully that stops him pestering others for a bit.
