This number kept ringing me and at first I could hear what sounded like someone speaking in Chinese with busy office sounds in the background. After a few times of them saying "hello", a woman with a Polish accent picked up and said they’d got my number off Tripadvisor. They tried to pitch some marketing software that supposedly collects data from PCs connected to café WiFi hotspots. They said the info gathered would help businesses target customers better by knowing things like what they browse, their age, DOB and stuff like that. Honestly, I’m really fed up with strangers getting hold of my number and cold calling me like this - feels more like harassment than a call. This sort of thing really needs to be stopped!

Even though I’m registered with TPS, this number rings me multiple times daily. Any ideas on how to make them stop?

Watch out, this is totally a con! They promise you an iPhone 6 upgrade for £49, then follow up with an email that looks like it's from thephonespot.com but it’s all bogus. They actually get hold of your bank info! Luckily, we rang our bank straight away and stopped the payment by cancelling the card. Now we’re just waiting for a replacement card to come through. The only harm done so far. Don’t get caught out by this, it’s a tricky scam and seems genuine, so stay alert!

Between the 15th and 22nd of September 2014, I received several missed calls from this number. On the 15th, there were 2 missed calls with just some office background noise on the voicemail. Then on the 18th and 19th, calls came through but no messages were left. On the 22nd, again a missed call and on the voicemail I heard what sounded like a few people in an office, with one person asking for a Date of Birth.

I reckon this is connected to the number 01202237228, which on the 9th of September 2014 sent a missed call and a text saying my T-mobile contract was up for renewal and urged me to call them back for a new phone and a loyalty bonus. Seems like some form of telemarketing or scam to me.

For the past two weeks, I've been getting calls every day from someone claiming they're from T Mobile about an upgrade. They're Asian callers, and it's honestly becoming quite annoying.
