I've had numerous calls from this number, initially filled with the sound of an office environment. There seemed to be a chap speaking Chinese in the background, and after I repeatedly called out "hello," a lady with a Polish accent came on the line. She claimed they had acquired my number from TripAdvisor and were keen to promote some marketing software. Apparently, this software can glean information from devices linked to WiFi hotspots, particularly in cafes. They reckon that the data collected would assist in targeting the right audience for businesses, including details like what users are viewing, their age, and even their date of birth. Honestly, I’m quite fed up with strangers obtaining my number and bombardment through cold calls. It feels more like harassment now, and I believe this needs to be put to an end!

I've been receiving calls from this number several times daily, and it’s quite frustrating, especially as I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Does anyone know how I can put a stop to these calls? Any advice would be appreciated!

Watch out, everyone! This is a total con! They were advertising an iPhone 6 upgrade for just £49, and I got an email confirming my contract with thephonespot.com. But be warned-it's a complete sham and that website's a ghost! They've managed to get hold of my bank info! Thankfully, we acted quickly and phoned our bank to stop the payment and cancel our card. Now we’re just waiting for a replacement card to come through. No harm done, thankfully, but please be really cautious! This scam is incredibly convincing, so don’t be taken in by it!

On the 15th of September, I received a couple of calls that I couldn’t answer. The voicemail was just a mix of office chatter, nothing of note really. Then on the 18th, another missed call came through without any message left behind. The trend continued on the 19th with yet another missed call-still no message. Fast forward to the 22nd; I missed yet another call. The voicemail this time was just more office noise, possibly three voices, with one inquiring about a date of birth. Quite strange, if you ask me.

I believe this might be linked to another number I’ve noticed, 01202237228...

On the 9th of September, I had a missed call as well as a text message, informing me that my T-mobile contract is up for renewal. It suggested that I ring 01202237228 for my new phone and potential loyalty perks.

I've been receiving calls from this number daily, but I haven't had the chance to pick up yet due to being quite tied up. Once I finally manage to answer, I’ll be sure to share what they claim their identity to be.

I've been receiving calls from some Asian individuals on a daily basis for the past two weeks, claiming to represent T-Mobile and offering a phone upgrade. It's becoming rather bothersome.

I've received two calls from this number now, and on both occasions, it only rang a couple of times before abruptly disconnecting.
