This number claims to be from the Dorchester police but it’s actually a scam. They say you have a warrant out or some problem with your National Insurance and try to get you to pay a fake ‘fine’. It’s been reported and blocked before. Now today the same number popped up again but this time it says it’s Hermes and wants payment for a parcel. Another trick. How does this keep happening and why is nothing being done to stop it?!

Got a missed call just before 10 in the evening, probably Dorset Police checking back in. I put it down as positive, even though that’s a bit of a stretch considering the time they should’ve acted was when a couple of dodgy, drunken scrotes were threatening me and stopping me from working. That’s why I rang the Police in the first place, hoping for quick help. That was around 3 weeks ago! And nope, they didn’t show up, if you were curious.

Why on earth would Dorset Police - or whoever claims to be Dorset Police - ring me at 3.50 am? I've never had any dealings with them before. And of course, the number won't let me call back. If it’s a genuine police line, why block incoming calls? What’s more worrying is a few days back, I got a call from the same number asking if I was ‘Devon and Dorset Police’!
