Naturally, I inquired how he had obtained my number, and he claimed it was from an energy database that anyone could access. I made it abundantly clear that I had already blocked the previous number and intended to do the same with this one, citing that I’m registered with the T.P.S. and have never consented to anyone sharing my contact details. I’ve had numerous calls from a bloke named Chris, who claims to represent a local energy company. He starts rambling on about loft insulation every time, but our conversation never really progresses. Not quite sure if it’s a con, but I’m thoroughly fed up with telemarketers. I’ve already informed him that, a) my home is new and should meet all necessary regulations, and b) I’m simply not interested. Yet these chaps always seem to ignore what I've said!

Received a call on Friday from someone who asserted he had information regarding our loft insulation sourced from a home renovation database.
