Some bloke called Chris rang claiming he was from an "agency" and said my loft hadn't got enough insulation. Ridiculous! I had it done up properly by my builder just last year, exactly how I wanted it. Told him to jog on and then blocked the number. Definitely a scam!

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with a company calling themselves "Eco Green Energy Centre Ltd." Although their website claims they operate out of Cumbria, they seem to be using landline numbers from Bournemouth. It’s quite evident that they’re pulling a fast one, as I’ve received numerous cold calls from them employing an array of different phone numbers. The current ones appear to start with 01202 1595 and have a variety of ending digits between 01 and 99. So far, the names they’ve thrown at me are "Chris" and "David," which seem rather generic. When I pressed them on where they obtained my details, they went completely silent, which I believe is a clear violation of GDPR regulations. Additionally, their calls seem to sidestep the Telephone Preference Service altogether. I’ve already reported them to both TPS and Action Fraud due to their dubious practices. It’s frustrating to encounter such relentless nuisance calls, and I hope they’re held accountable soon.

I keep getting these persistent calls from someone named Chris, no matter how many times I’ve requested them to stop. It’s really becoming rather tiresome. They launch into this whole rigmarole about loft insulation, and then it’s the same old question about whether I’m in the 50-80 age bracket or 80-plus. Strangely enough, once I’ve indicated that I’m not keen to share my details, the call just drops. I did ask them for the company name during one of the calls, and wouldn’t you know it, the line went dead promptly. It does make me wonder if they’re specifically targeting older folks who might be a bit more susceptible to these sorts of pitches. I really wish they’d take the hint and leave me alone.
