Got a call from a number that looked like it was from Bournemouth, but I think it’s some scammer using fake numbers or maybe hiring a set of numbers from a provider. Likely BT since they just take money from anywhere - call centres, regular folks, even dodgy criminals, whatever brings them cash. Best to steer clear of these calls, never share your details with strangers claiming to be from companies you’ve never heard of. Be careful out there!

Got a call from a number that looked like it was Bournemouth because of the area code, but the digits after that were 19323, which seemed a bit dodgy to me. The person rang up and began with "how are you", claiming they were from a local green energy firm nearby. When I told them they weren’t local to me, they switched and said they served the South London area. Still, I told them they weren’t local to me, and then they just hung up. Seems like either a clueless telemarketer or some sort of scam to me.

This is the third occasion within a fortnight that I've received a telephone call regarding loft insulation from this number. Each time, I've made it quite clear that I reside in a council house. When I inquired about the reason for their call, considering that I am on the Telephone Preference Service list, they abruptly ended the call. Quite rude, if you ask me!

Seems like BT has handed off a batch of numbers, and now they’re falling into the hands of unscrupulous telemarketers and scammers. Exercise caution with those enticing free deals, as it’s best to refrain from dialling them unless you’re prepared for exorbitant connection fees and outrageous per-minute costs. Naturally, I queried why on earth he required such details, and-wouldn’t you know it-he promptly disconnected. Not falling for that one, Alex! Not happening today!

I've just had my second call from "Alex at the Solar Centre" within a week! The first time he rang, he asked if I owned the property. I explained that I didn’t, and he quickly apologised and ended the call. Fast forward to just now, and he tried his luck again. I've informed them repeatedly that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but they seem utterly uninterested. During our last exchange, he had the audacity to suggest that I must have shared my number at some point, which is completely untrue! I’ve asked him time and again to take my details off their list, yet here we are-still bombarded by his calls. Honestly, Chris's relentless antics are really testing my patience. Enough is enough!
