Was told it was an energy firm calling, but the moment I asked how they got my phone number, they just ended the call.

Some bloke called me up claiming there’s a register saying my old yellow rockwool loft insulation needs replacing coz it might cause damp and mould. He mentioned I was last in line for a survey or something. Told him my loft’s fine, no signs of damp or condensation, I’d just checked it not long ago. Then he just hung up on me. Honestly, what’s it got to do with him or anyone else what insulation I have up there? Ridiculous.

Some random number called me, I picked up but as soon as I said hello, they just hung up right away.

I’ve already flagged this number on here previously. Usually I don’t answer calls if the number isn’t familiar, and these people never bother to leave a voicemail. Seeing all the bad reviews about it, I just block every one that comes through. Trouble is, they keep ringing back with slightly different endings on the number like 01202 159 318, 01202 159 317, or 01202 159 330. Each one I’ve blocked straight away, but they just keep switching the last digits and trying again. It’s quite annoying really.

Some bloke called me up saying that my old loft insulation, some yellow rockwool stuff, apparently needs to be changed out because it might cause damp and mould. Thing is, the area they're talking about is like 200 miles away. Not sure if this one was just another one of those.

He claimed to be from an energy company and said our house could really make good use of loft insulation. When he phoned the first time, I made it clear we were on the Telephone Preference Service list, so it’s worrying to get another call from presumably the same bloke, on a different number, using the identical pitch.

After that, I told him to forget it and end the chat, and he just hung up on me! Felt really dodgy, like a scam or spam call for sure.

I've had four calls from numbers that looked kind of the same but not quite. Whenever I don't know the number, I just let it ring through to voicemail. They never leave a message anyway. Told him it’s actually a private residential block run by a Housing Company so it can’t be flagged like that since they handle all upkeep inside and out... he just hung up after that. Already blocked one number via BT Call Protect, so seems like he’s just switching to a different one!

This is actually the third time I've been rung up by these lot, just like others have said. They always start with the same first six digits but the last three keep changing - Ive seen 045, 303 and 318 so far. The caller couldn't get anything out of me, so after a bit of silence, they just dropped the call. I've blocked every number so far and I’m definitely going to keep blocking them all. It’s really annoying having your calm messed about like this.
